Hey how is everything going on the home front???? Hope its all going well.
Time here flies so fast it seems like it was yesterday that I emailed so I'll try to remember what all happened. We saw Thurow Balley here he talked to the 6'9 elder in out district. Well we adopted a district that only had two people in it, Elder Gram and Warner. They are really fun and we all get along really well.
Oh so Gym is the best thing that has ever happened, We play kick ball, volleyball and basketball. All are good!!!! I got hit in the face with the volleyball again this week. This time I had blood in my mouth and a little shade of a bruise on my face. It went away really fast, like that day it was gone. The cool thing about that was I managed to hit it again with my face to keep it up in the air and my team mate hit it over the net and we got the point!!! When you have to wait in line for your turn because they play weird here (its called King of the court) you don't mess around with dropping the ball! Then the next day I was like Gym time again volleyball.. Heck no David Blane. I'm going to play kick ball ... I'm the pitcher... mostly because I can catch but any how the Elder kicking the ball set it right back to me and it hyper extended my fingers. I finished the game but it took a good two hours to get the feeling back in my middle finger lol. Thats been the only injuries that were caused by the Elders ... I however did hit the basketball in my own face and had to pop my jaw back into place. Maybe gym isn't my sport but I still love it!!!
So I have bruises on my knees with calluses to match !!! I'm a reall missionary now ... not that I wasn't before now I have bruises to prove it.
So in the morning we do SYL which is Speak your language it's so much fun we do it from 6:30 to 8 so through A-Bom reading and breakfast. Elder Reece (who is way funnier than I will or could ever be) always runs out of Armenian to say so randomly he will burst out with "I KNOW JOSEPH SMITH IS A PROPHET!!!" (in Armenian) as a desperation wanting to say something it's funny.
We get to see the spoken word on Sundays and they sang the Battle of Jerico. Now you must under stand we can't listen to music here .... so that was the closest thing to Babylon music I've came to in a long time. It was so wonderful!!!
We have really good spirit here, I have never felt so happy as I do here. Classes are wonderful the only time I'm not learning is when I sleep. We have the teachers for like 8 hrs a day and when they're not there we're studying. The only problem is there just isn't enough time so we study when we walk and eat and then when you brush your teeth and getting ready in the morning you put words through Genitive and Simple Present and on and on. No time to doubt all My efforts goes to the Lord, I don't have time to doubt for faith and doubt can't exist at the same time.
Know that I love you and think of you often. All my love
Sister Ferguson
