I'm the F to the E, R, G the I the E ... and cant no other missionary put it down like me ... (its a song... and yes I'm that dorky

Hey fam how’s life been this week? I know for Eileen it has been good! :) Congratulations!!!!!! on the engagement If there is anything I can do to help let me know! This will be so exciting for you all!

This week has been really different. We have been trying to find more of our in-actives and walking around allot trying to find them they have old and new addresses so our map works 1/2 the time but be don't know which half that is... I love the random ppl we find when were out on the street it makes it all worth it!!!

We got a new branch president and 1st counselor not too long ago and yesterday they called a Ward mission leader... My wonderful friend Sticks. Then that night he called me to tell me that he's going to be serving a Mini mission in Gyumri :( so sad I really don't want Sticks to go. (We call him sticks his name is Arman) He's like one of my best friends here.

Well I got this book on how some of the churches here got started.

This is how Tsitsenavank got its start... I can’t read most the names so good luck! and I am going to do the whole thing like they did it... next week I'll send you the English that is on the washer lol its awesome!!!!!!!!!

Tuman, the price (melik) of Hrchas, constantly offended the priest of the village. To get rid of the price, the priest wrote a damnation on a paper, left it in the prince's room and fled. By the damnations of that paper, the prince lost his wife, sons and his whole wealth. Realizing that the the priest’s damnation is cause of all his misfortunes, the price went to find him to beg his pardon. The price passed several cities and reaching Rome, found out that the priest had died.Deserate, he stayed at one of the monasteries as an attendant and kept on prying for the salvation of his soul.
Time was passing. One day , the prince bit the little finger of apostle Peter and held it in his mouth. Next minute, all the icons of the monastery fell down. The priests rushed to the prince trying to take the relic out of his mouth and to kill him. And suddenly a voice coming out from the table, said: "Don't approach the prince". After that, the prince returned to his country and built there a monastery in the place where a cult plum-tree grew. There he buried the finger (tsitsern) of apostle Peter. Since then the monastery has been called Tsitsernavank.

I didn’t change anything!

I laughed so hard!!! I love the translations here! And this story is just funny. All I could think was ... could you fathom if the Bibble Peter would have been AHHH some crazy prince just bit off my finger! that my have made me laugh way to hard. My washer is good to not as good as fingers being bit off. I believe that is says something like "the spin results in no good."

Well Love all you so much. I’ll have to keep you updated on my investigator Anaheat she will be baptized in June don't know what day but some time around my birthday. I'm getting so old!!! Almost 22 I really didn't plan on being 22 ever when I thought about life as a kid. lol but better late than never.

Did I tell you that Elder Scott is coming to our mission June 12th and 13th the 12 is just with us 40 missionaries and the 13th is the whole two countries this mission covers. Were really hoping to get 800 ppl to come.

I've been doing the counting in my ward and we got 40ish ppl in our branch that number had held for 3 weeks now!!! When we first got here the number was 15. I have really high hopes for Armenian I really pray that they'll get a temple some day. The ppl here are so cool!!

I can really see how much the Lord has been blessing me in my life here. I may get sick a lot but I get so much done! I know that its only through him that anything happens. When the spirit is strong I can talk and they understand and I understand them. When I'm not doing what I need to, too have the spirit I can't talk; no one understands me and I don't even have a clue what there saying to me. I love how I can see my Heavenly Father in everything that I do here. I cant believe how much more I'm learning about the gospel there is so much more than just reading your scriptures everyday and going to church on Sunday. Its so much more!!! Really studying the scriptures, holy cow my life seems so easy compared to Alma and Nephi! PS thanks to my brothers for not trying to kill me I really appreciate that. just to let you know. :) :) :)

well now that I'm letting the missionary dorky-ness out I should go. Nothing good is going to come from me staying on longer lol later

Fergie ferg :)

Armenian love sent your way

Well I've hit another Monday this time I'm in Ararat! I really like it down here. My comp and I came for our P-day. We went to this old church I would say its name but... I don't know it lol. But anyway when your at the church and look out ya can see MT. Ararat really well (where they say Noah landed). we were about 6 miles away from it and 1/2 mile away from the Turkey border! The mt. is in Turkey; we could see there watch towers and all. So much fun! Sister Christensen and I came with the Elders down here Elders Recce and Gardner. Both are from Utah.

I'm am so excited for Rebecca!!! I be home not to long after she has the baby. Its weird to think that life still happens in Utah. I get so busy here I forget that you all are having your own adventurers there. Its not to bad though it wont take long for me to get in the hang of everything when I get home. I hit my half way mark in about a transfer.

My investigators are doing really well. Anaheat she has a baptism date for the 4th of June. She is doing so good! Fina we were able to meet with her finally!! She finally found a job. It brakes my heart she works from 9 am to 11 pm for 1500 drom a day that's less than $4 a day. Even here that's a really bad job! Normally ok so lets say you work in the city at a place like Berger king you work 12 hrs a day everyday for about 2000 maybe 3000 drom a day. this job of Fina's is just so bad!!! I really hope she can find a new job. She's a stud!!! When we teach her she is a power house for the spirit and I love going over to her house.

The people here are so good! I can't tell you how much I love them. Everyday it just grows stronger and stronger. I really wish I could just live here forever. If you watch the movie pride and prejudice the feel of that movie is how it feels here some times. like in the small villages that's the feel and its so cool to see all the old buildings and talk to the people about this and that.

We took the train here and this lady all but adopted us into her family! She was a way cool lady she gave us candy. (Don't tell Mom but I did take candy from a stranger and I did eat it!) We try to get 12 gospel conversations every day and we got all 12 and some contacts of ppl to go see in that train. It was a really good train ride for us!

Well happy to say all is well. I'm doing allot better staying healthy, I really am so grateful for all your help hope that week goes by wonderful for you!

Mom -I'm staying way safe no worries!

Picture time!

Lets see there is a pic of all the Queers serving in Armenia there is a pic of me by a water fountain by our house. The pic of the horse is a huge statue that is here they have a lot of thoughts here. This one looked way cool!

I hope all is going good on your side of the world! I'm having a lot of fun over here. Khachek is doing so good he's coming to church and liking it. We have a investigator that will get baptized on the 28th. I really feel blessed by all that God is giving us and letting us help with.

Lets see what happened this week... I got Lori and Eileen's boxes they were way good thank you so much for that!!!

My camera died so I'll be looking for a new one here or trying to get this one fixed. It wont turn on and that zoom-er is stuck out... so really I don't know if they can fix it.. but what the hey I'm willing to try.

Fisher went home this last week and now is in Idaho.

OK so I got proposed to again it was really funny! That whole day was really funny we went to Avan this neighboring part of the city that is also in our area. We were walking down the street and we start seeing thees cloths pins falling all around us LOL then I saw that it was not on accident that they were falling all around us. We were being Cloths pined!!!! I laughed so hard I couldn't breath it was so funny. they were like 5 levels up from us! All I could think about was this game that Eileen and I would play at my old apt. We would try to get a Pennie into a golf hole from the second and third floor. Their game had to have been a lot funner! I can't blame them ... after all if you can see your self doing the same thing. ya really cant get mad at someone doing it to you. I thought it was so funny. I wanted to teach them that if you sit your car out on the road and wait for ppl to walk by you can push the panic button and watch them jump :) ... not that I would do that ....(cough)
After we left that place we were walking around and I saw a really cute puppy and I wasn't going to pet it ... maybe but I did want to look at it and to my dismay the boy that was holding the puppy left. Sadly this is not where that story ends his friend saw me and followed us around like a lost puppy for like 20 min. He was determined to help us find our next appt. He wanted to help us cross the street and kept grabbing my hand to hold it .... I had to take it way a few times before he got the hint that I wasn't going to let that slide. At the end of it all he kept asking my age and if I would stay with him and his family... Don't worry Mom I said NO. He really looked like a 12 year old but he was 24 trapped in a 12 year old's body! He was a good kid he gave us his number. I think I'll have the Elders stop by and teach him the first lesson :) I love doing that you have no idea! He ended up putting us on the wrong van and we ended up in Center... Elder Wainrights area not my area. We had to hurry and try to get back in our own area. I really had a lot of fun that day it was one weird thing after another after another.

The work is going really good despite the puppy's that try to follow us home or have us come live at there home. lol it so much fun here and I'm way glad to hear that your all doing so good

love love!!!
