A picture and a story... or maybe a lot of pics.

In Nork two months ago one of the Elders here got sick and had to go home, so they had to shut down an area to make up the difference with a lack of an Elder. So Nork was the area to get shut down. The Apartment is one of the best so the church kept the apartment. Well then they Moved me and my Comp from Gyumri to Nork to Re-open the Area.
People speak English to us here a lot. Like my Branch president, it's so cool that He Knows Joe Carbine. We also have a lot of others that speak English to us. It's so hard to try to talk to them, I just get tung tied. It's almost easier to talk in Armenian. Most of the time its easier when they talk to me in Armenian.
It was so hard to leave. Gyumri in the MTC my branch president gave us advice "Ever transfer should break your heart, that's how you'll know your doing it right." Holy cow I had no idea leaving people that I didn't really even know would brake my heart so much!!
Now don't get me wrong Nork is good too, and there is this old Grandpa I'm already in love with. His name is Raffiek the popeek ... not as cool in English...but in Armenian it's a way cool name. And instead of getting my mail every Month when someone makes the drive to Gyumri I live a 10 min ride from the office and can pick it up every Monday.
I really excited for my new area its way fun to re-open an area. We walk around alot getting to know everyone and my Branch president is way cool! love you lots

this is just one of the Mossies that were over in "Nork" there is 9 total mossies and two little ville gages. The city is huge Nork is just a part of Yerevan. nothing like Gyumri. Gyumri was a small city Now I'm in "there" down town New York.

so normally your not Double transferred into an area. But that is what happened. So for the pic the elders that were in Nork two mounts ago didn't know that Queers would be the next to get the Apt... so we found old cloths. lol my queer got a new shirt and new work out shorts.
Elders moved in to our apartment and We moved into old Elders Apartment.... well the Elders left stuff behind for the next one to come but they didn't know it was going to be girls Sisters haven't been in Nork in over 6 years... lol we found a bag of random stuff but now I have a new hat :) and the sweater did fit me.

That's the bug we found in our apartment our first night. I had to find a dime so you could see how big it was. So cool! But we didn't want to kill it, so my companion let it out. In our back yard. I still can't believe we have a back yard!!!

is my kitchen its so nice!!! I didn't know they had nice like this. they just didn't have this in Gyumri.

These are my old investigators in Gyumri they are really cute girls. One is 20 and the other is 16

This was my old district we were at my Minni's parents house and had a big BBQ the plate of food is what I ate! SO SO GOOD!!!

this is Any she is so cute she is about 15 Her mom and her were less actives but they are coming to church now. There way cool!. Gyumri has a lot of inactivates so we spent a lot of time working with members.

So this week has gone good. It went just as fast as last week lol. We did have to send some time indoors this week though. My mini was sick a lot, her head is giving her a lot of problems and I got Food poisoning of some sort... Cow bob's are never to be trusted again lol. So I think I'll just tell you.

So I told you about how my comp just goes a long with my "ideas" well.... this time it was just retarded funny lol so just remember I'm still me lol
So our toilet seat broke and has been really annoying to try to use. So being a true Armenian, I decide that I can fix it all by myself. This was the start of my "idea" so I get the super glue and start going at it. I shortly find that supper glue dries super super fast... I had my hand stuck to its self in no time. So I’m sitting there with one finger on one hand that can still move and three moving fingers on the other hand. This is where I should have stopped, so still gluing this stupid thing back together. I see how funny this is and start to laugh really hard that I was so glued. My comp yells from the other room “you ok over there ... did you glue your hand to the toilet seat?" I was glad to yell back NO!!!! but shortly after I said no I realized something.... the toilet seat was still in my hand but I wasn't putting any effort in the holding the nasty seat.... this is where the "Idea" started going bad...lol
So I did get my hand back (not that I want it!) I tape the living day lights out of that stupid thing and glue it a lot for good measure. I did this right before we leave to go out. We come back not to long after that and my mini goes to the bathroom and was in there for a really long time…. I was thinking she got sick to but we here this HELP HELP I’M STUCK I was like oh crap!!!!!!!! Christensen you got this one!!

My companion is a saint!!!!!!!!! She said ok I can handle this one. .... Now I want you to see what my life had come to at that moment. I'm a 21 year old woman that spends her day in a skirt, looking nice acting the part, teaching of Christ all day. All that came crashing down at this moment because I now had super glue all over herself and a Mini that can’t get out of the bathroom!!!! So I grab the finger nail polish remover and we go over to the bathroom Sister Christensen opens the door first to ... "see the damage" and Siranush jumps out going BOOOO!!! I tell you what I have never NEVER been so happy to have a joke played on me in my whole life!!!

LOL I don’t know what I would do without Siranush she is so much fun. Last night we turn off the lights and go to bed not even a second later I feel her jump on me and tickled me so bad!! I did find that if you get her just right she falls off the bed just like Rebecca does some times. It’s really funny when it happens… to both people. Lol

So I just got a call from Pres Dunn I'm moving to Nork!!! Sister Christensen and I are getting double transferred without or mini...
I'm a little scared not going to lie, but I really don't have a lot of time to type, but Pray for me ok? I'll need the prayers this week. Sister Christensen is the group before me and we both are so stinking new. But I know the Lord will be on my right hand and my Comp on my left I have no real worries I know it will be good. love love next week from Nork

they really like there food to look pretty here I can make food pretty.. When I get home I'll cook for you I've started a cook book of what I know how to make here. Its so cool

we have to go up that to get to the members door there is like 2 to 3 inches of room for your foot and its really scary when its snowed and icey lol but we don't die ...

we were in Arteik and the place we went to eat had egg cartons on the ceiling painted green as the texture. yep that's Armenia for you through and through!!!

A week ago (Rachel got a little busy and slow...)

the pics are of Armenia the stares are outside of my apt and the red car was just cool. there is a pic of a huge house its the biggest here and looks so out of place but its in the middle of nowhere!!!! there is an appt next to mine that does legal stuff lol the sign is in Armenian Russian I think and English it's the only English sine I have seen.

Hey fam. this week has been fun.

So its been hard to be the one that knows the area and trying to show my new comp around has been hard thank goodness for my mini she saves my life everyday.Its like having a sleepover with your best friend everyday. So last week we got to the point that we had no investigators I know that really sad. Don't be thinking you have a bad missionary it was just a hard week and my comp had been sick seance I got here so we weren't able to find new ones but that's ok Christensen and I have been working with in actives this week and it has really paid off we had 10 of our in actives come to church!!!!! That is a huge blessing for us this ward really needs to have its in actives start coming there are 400 members and only 50 active so its so good we got 10 !!!!!
